KanAm Grund Group and Barceló Hotel Group Launch Strategic Partnership to Drive Hotel Expansion Across Western and Northern Europe

The KanAm Grund Group joins forces with the internationally acclaimed Barceló Hotel Group as part of a strategic partnership. This partnership brings together two organizations to unlock new investment opportunities in Western and Northern European hospitality markets, marking a significant step in its targeted hotel expansion strategy.

The joint venture will focus on acquiring core+/value-add investments in major Western and Northern European cities, targeting 4- and 5-star business and leisure hotels. Investment strategies will range from a change of operator and/or refurbishment capex actions, up to a full redevelopment strategy, including conversion from office to hotel.

Target priority markets include Germany, Austria and Switzerland, among other target markets such as France and BeNeLux, UK & Ireland, the Nordics and Italy focusing on central locations in capital cities and secondary cities. Upon completion of targeted investments, Barceló Hotel Group will assume hotel operations under long term lease agreements. This will ensure operational stability, guest satisfaction, and long-term value for stakeholders.

“This strategic partnership allows us to seize high-potential opportunities in a sector where we see future growth by leveraging our pan-European local presence for sourcing, whilst also benefiting from the operational track record of one of the most recognized names in global tourism”, said Olivier Catusse, Managing Partner and CEO at KanAm Grund Group
“At the same time our alliance will create value driving synergies for both organizations, enabling us to generate attractive returns for our investors”, comments Anthony G. Bull-Diamond, Managing Director at KanAm Grund Group.
